WHY BECOME A PSO MEMBER ?

The Polish Society of Oncology is the oldest and largest scientific society in the field of oncology in Poland. More than 1,000 doctors, scientists and other people representing various fields related to basic research, epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of cancer are members of the Society. The main activities of the society are carried out in several branch offices in the field.

  • Free subscription to the Society’s official journal "Nowotwory (Cancer) - Journal of Oncology” in printed and electronic form (offer pending)

  • Discounted registration fees for congresses and conferences organised by the Society

  • Exclusive access for the Society's members to the web site containing useful information and educational materials (offer pending)

  • Professional consultation in the preparation of scientific presentations planned for scientific conferences in Poland and abroad

  • Substantive and linguistic consultation of scientific reports prepared for publication in national and international journals

  • Travel grant applications for participation in major conferences in Poland and abroad

  • Application for free participation in the preparation of scientific reports and preparation of research projects training

  • Application for the scientific prize awarded by the Society

  • Application for grants to launch scientific research projects (so-called seeding grants)
  • Assistance in job searches in Polish as well as foreign oncology centres

The membership fee is 50 PLN per annum.
