·AACR -American Association for Cancer Research

The mission of the AACR is to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, communication, and collaboration. Through its programs and services, the AACR fosters research in cancer and related biomedical science; accelerates the dissemination of new research findings among scientists and others dedicated to the conquest of cancer; promotes science education and training; and advances the understanding of cancer etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the world.

·ASC -American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the ACS has 12 chartered Divisions, more than 900 local offices nationwide, and a presence in more than 5,100 communities.

ASCO -American Society of Clinical Oncology

The American Society of Clinical Oncology is a non-profit organization founded in 1964 with the overarching goals of improving cancer care and prevention. Nearly 30,000 oncology practitioners belong to ASCO, representing all oncology disciplines and subspecialties. Members include physicians and health-care professionals in all levels of the practice of oncology.

BIG - Breast International Group

The Breast International Group (BIG), a non-profit organisation for academic breast cancer research groups, facilitates breast cancer research internationally by stimulating cooperation between its members and other academic networks, and collaborating with, but working independently from, the pharmaceutical industry

CECOG -The Central European Cooperative Oncology Group

The Central European Cooperative Oncology Group (CECOG) has been formed to unite centers of clinical oncology from Central and Southeastern Europe as well as Israel into a united body devoted to the conduct of clinical trials and provide postgraduate education in oncology

EACR - The European Association for Cancer Research

The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) was established in 1968 with the aim of advancing cancer research; from basic research to prevention, treatment and care. The Association is growing rapidly with a membership of over 9,000 laboratory, translational and clinical cancer researchers.

ESMO -European Society for Medical Oncology

The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) is the leading European professional organization, committed to advancing the specialty of medical oncology and promoting a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment and care. Since its founding in 1975 as a non-profit organization, ESMO’s mission has been to advance cancer care and cure. We achieve this through fostering and disseminating good science that leads to better medicine and determines best practice. In this way ESMO fulfils its goal to support oncology professionals in providing people with cancer with the most effective treatments available and the high-quality care they deserve.

ESSO - European Society of Surgical Oncology

The European Society of Surgical Oncology, ESSO, was established in 1981 to advance the art, science and practice of surgery for the treatment of cancer

ESTRO - The European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology

The European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology was founded in Milan in September 1980 as a Society of individual members and is the only European society to represent all professionals involved in the management of cancer patients using radiotherapy.

IASLC - International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer

Organization for the etiology, epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and other issues related to cancer lung in both the medical community and in whole society.

IBCSG -International Breast Cancer Study Group

IBCSG conducts since 1977 academic clinical trials in early breast cancer, while respecting highest scientific and ethical standards. The patients are at the center of its considerations: the patient’s welfare and quality of life are important research topics

NBOCC -National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre

National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre (NBOCC) is Australia’s national authority and source of evidence-based information on breast and ovarian cancer. Funded by the Australian Government, NBOCC works in partnership with health professionals, cancer organisations, researchers, governments and those diagnosed to improve outcomes in breast and ovarian cancer.

NCCN - National Comprehensive Cancer Network

The mission of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is "to improve care, with respect to cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up." The main activity of the organization is the development and publication of practice guidelines for oncology care. These guidelines are developed by oncologists at the member cancer centers based on research evidence from clinical trials and other studies. NCCN also develops guidelines for patients. According to the organization, the goal of developing these guidelines "is to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of oncology care." On April 1, 2009 the organization launched a consumer website with their cancer treatment summaries.

NCI -National Cancer Institute

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which is one of 11 agencies that compose the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

UICC - Union for International Cancer Control

Founded in 1933, the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) is the largest cancer fighting organisation of its kind, with more than 400 member organisations across 120 countries. With its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, it is the leading non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-sectorian cancer organisation. UICC’s mission is to eliminate cancer as a life-threatening disease for future generations.
