The Polish Oncological Society is a medical scientific association whose activity concentrates on issues concerning the propagation of scientific achievements in the field of oncology, stimulating research in this field, improving the professional skills of the staff of oncological centres and propagating health education and prophylactic principles.

The Society has over 1000 members, including doctors, pharmacists, biologists, chemists and represntatives of other specialisations employed in oncological institutions or conducting scientific research in this field.
